DEATH in Paradise’s Ben Miller has left fans open-mouthed with his striking lockdown transformation.
Ben, 55, played DI Richard Poole in the BBC crime drama and was most recently seen in Netflix period drama, Bridgerton.
In both roles, Ben sported a dark head of hair, but during an appearance on Lorraine on Monday, he unveiled a dramatic new look.
Lorraine, 61, immediately noticed Ben’s shaved head, and he revealed he had made the drastic change for a zombie movie he had filmed recent.
He said: “I’ve been filming a zombie film, that’s why my hair looks so strange – a bald zombie!”
Ben was on the show to chat about his new children’s book, but Lorraine couldn’t help but mention his new look again later on, saying: “You suit that no hair look, I like it!”
However, it seems Ben will be growing back his hair for his next project as he told Lorraine: “Zombies [movie] are all done!”
“I’m part of this really exciting show on ITV called Professor T. It’s about a Professor of Criminology from Cambridge University solve baffling crimes.
“But there’s a sprinkle of intrigue as it seems I, myself could be some kind of criminal.
“It is based on a Belgium TV show which we have remade for the UK and I can’t wait for people to see it!”
Ben returned for a cameo appearance in the most recent series of Death in Paradise to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
His character Richard had been killed at the start of series three and he returned in a dream sequence with Camille Bordey.
